I once bought a cake that was so rich that, despite being only about 1cm think, had to be cut into 16 pieces before you could eat it.

    • jayjorz says:

Yes, there’s no way I could eat a piece of this Reeses cake that large. Especially because I only like peanut butter in small quantities.

When I was in Pensacola, FL a few weeks ago, I went to a restaurant that had a unique chocolate cake for dessert. The “cake” consisted of a bottom layer of 1/4 inch-thick cake, then about 2 inches of fudge, then another 1/4 inch of cake, then another 2 inches of fudge, then a third 1/4 inch of cake, and a chocolate ganache icing. It was so rich, I couldn’t eat it all. I had finally found a chocolate cake that defeated me.

    • Patrick says:

When I lived with my grandmother back in 2000, the Winn-Dixie sold candy bar cakes in their bakery/deli section. The cake layers were chocolate, and the center layer was icing made up to look and taste very close to the insides of a candy bar. They mainly used M&M/Mars brand candy bars: Snickers, Milky Way, and 3 Musketeers.

It’s supposed to be like a “Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup”. it looks “win” worthily similar.
(Americans, people outside your country are most likely to not know what those are, hence why I had to say it.)

Just as I was about to post this I saw someone else has already pointed it out. :(
I’m going to hit “post comment” anyway..
