Even more ironic is the fact that the book is not actually the Necromonicon, but an HP Lovecraft collection. I do, however, own a copy of the (i.e. a) Necromonicon, which is what I thought I was comparing it to.
I was mistaken. I still oppose Cthulu spelled without an ‘h’.
Other than that, I can’t think of a single thing they have in common, or any concept they don’t cover between them. This is the end of art and history.
To those of you bitching about the spelling of “Cthulhu”:
The name can’t be pronounced by human vocal chords correctly. It is a kind of gurgle sound uttered by fish aliens. H.P. Lovecraft spells it as both “Cthulu” and “Cthulhu” as well as several other variations such as “Ktulu” and even “Catooloo”.
Please get your facts straight before you correct people.
Isn’t that a ukelele?
yeah…. lol title fail
Yeah, definitely not a guitar… only 4 strings…
Tenor guitars only have 4 strings. But yeah, still very much a ukulele.
Still cool though.
Agreed, though catching your fingers on those teeth trying to play it would have to be a bit of a sanity-reaping bugger.
Cthukulele?
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
You sir, are a pun god
Cthulhu, get it right.
Cool guitar, wonder if he played with Erich Zann…
I hope I’m not the only person to understand this reference
Ukulele, get it right.
Partying on the Rue d’Auseil
That’s a ukelele, not a guitar.
Ironically, I never even looked at the instrument, I looked at the oversized copy of the Necromonicon and the big gaping mouth on the mini-guitar.
