I’ve seen similar work myself, this guy’s work is just a lot better quality than the run of the mill street artist.

i got one of those paintings from him on the Santa Monica pier about 10 years ago. not sure if that’s where he’s still working
if it’s the same guy…there’s no telling.
There were two guys doing the same thing when I went last year. There are probably a whole bunch of them in lots of different touristy areas.
(Sadly, we only bought one tiny one. We want to go back and get a whole bunch for family. They’re cheaper than crappy plastic.)

I just hope the wonderful people who do this for a living don’t lose their health from the paint. Oil paints can be dangerous if they’re left on your skin for a long time.
