    Treehouse.

I can’t enjoy my meal while I’m constantly thinking about how badly I have to pee.

  2. yuki says:

what if we took the tree house restaurant and put it around the waterfall restaurant? *insert patrick meme*

  3. mike says:

    That’s a urinal for CN.

  4. Brian says:

The staircase for the tree house is visible in the photo…

  5. Danny Boy says:

I’ve been to the Tree House restaurant. It’s amazing. Waterfall restaurant? Looks like it would be loud

  6. Dawna says:

The treehouse one. I don’t want my food getting wet with water people have stepped in. e.e.

  7. Ninja Inc. says:

Woot! Naha Harbor Diner! I grew up on a Marine Corps base near that restaurant.

  8. Victor1139 says:

I wouldn’t call the waterfall restaurant peaceful, it seems noisy from all the water falling

  9. Skittles says:

A restaurant set in a garden with small fountains and brooks to create enough noise to drown out other guests. Then separate the tables with hedges to give a more intimate feel. Then on warm evenings stay open late with lantern light. That would be bomb.

    • Candi says:

      ^This

Heights freak me out, and all that water would be nice at the time, but then I’d feel clammy later in wet clothing.

  10. roiji says:

the waterfall restaurant is not as noisy as it looks.
the water cascades on the wall rather than free falling.

  11. Thomassn says:

People choosing waterfall haven’t considered the awefull smell that will be released you cant eat there…

  12. Bobby Joe says:

ONCE AGAIN, THIS STUPID “OTHER” CHOICE IN THE POLL!!!!! I’M GETTING SO SICK OF THIS USELESS CHOICE!!!!! VERY FEW PEOPLE VOTE FOR THAT CHOICE, YET THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE WHO SAY THAT THEY’LL TELL ABOUT IT IN THE COMMENTS THAN THERE ARE ACTUALLY COMMENTS IN THIS POST!!!! IT’S SO ANNOYING AND USELESS!!!! GET RID OF THAT “OTHER” CHOICE!!!!

  13. Chuck says:

“And this cool restaurant from the Philippines. I assume sandals are suggested?”

This is in the Philippines… Sandals (flip flops) are standard footwear there. It’s pretty rare to see anyone wearing anything else.

    • NinjaKid says:

      Buzz Killington strikes again.

      • Chuck says:

I don’t know if I’m a buzz kill. I’m just saying that footwear is not likely to be a problem. It’s actually funny. When I was there, my host family was shocked that I didn’t bring a pair of flip flops with me. I only had my sneakers. It confused them.

  14. genevieve says:

im from the philippines and roiji is right the water just cascades in the wall. this waterfall resto is located in san pablo, Laguna (one of our main provinces) where there are many hidden valley and hot springs around the area. its approx 100KM from the main city Manila this particular resto is managed by villa escudero resorts. heres the website for more info http://www.villaescudero.com/old/index.php

  15. Andrew says:

I’ve been to the treehouse one!! It is very pricey =( I had a hamburger steak thing.

  19. DevynnLeighh says:

I think it’s kind of sad that I lived in Okinawa for 3 years and don’t remember ever seeing or hearing of this place.

  20. Adrian Wylde says:

Yeah, I live in Okinawa, seen that restaurant. Didn’t go because it looked expensive. It’s about 40 minutes from my place, depending on traffic. I guess we’ll go one day when we’re feeling flush.

  21. Shugosha says:

The first restaurant is Japanese not Pilipino. You can tell by the Katakana on the front sign.

  22. Nikanaiko says:

    Nope. No staircase. Hookshot required.

  23. Mike says:

Been living in Okinawa for a decade and have not once been to the tree place.
