Why yes, that is a portrait of Charles Darwin (Nickname: “Chuck D.”) made entirely from the plastic “Barrel o’ Monkeys” toys. Commentary on evolution, a tribute, or just a clever use of plastic crap? I’ll let you all decide that.

everyone who has ever posted first with the word “first” should have a manatee take a dump in their mouth. and all the jesus-freaks that are going to post about how evolution is “just a theory” can suck it. you people are just too stupid to argue with.
u mad?
composed entirely from “barrel o’ monkey. It wasn’t made with them, its a 2D portrait..
In addition, I am not sure why monkeys would a commentary on evolution. Homo-sapiens are in the same family (Hominoidea) as apes, and it is with them that we have close common ancestry. The artist should have selected a more closely related species if he wanted to make commentary on evolution.
Are they sure its not Jesus?
cool would love to have that at home.
My first though was “Monkeys and Marx?”
Humans did NOT evolve from monkeys, both species evolved separately from a common ancestor. Idiots making the argument “If we evolved, why are monkeys still around?” can go f**k themselves because the common ancestor great apes and monkeys evolved from is, in fact, extinct.
That being said, this is pretty impressive and I didn’t know Barrel of Monkeys sets came in those colors.
Not to mention the fact that even if our common ancestor wasn’t extinct it still wouldn’t mean anything against Evolution. America exists now, why are Europeans still alive?
who is the other guy on the back of his head?
