    What’s a floppy disk? What’s that song from? I think that song must be from a movie from before us 20-somethings were born. And floppy disks? Never used those either.

      I’m 16 and I used to use floppy disks when I started programming.
      You’re doing it wrong.

      i’m 21 and i used those disks, i even used the 5.25″ disks… maybe you didn’t have a computer before they were out… no offense…

      BTW… the song is the Imperial March from Star Wars

      Direct hardware control of the motors. Turn ‘em on and off fast enough, you get a tone.

      Friend of mine did this with an Apple IIe back in my high school library. Played ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’ that way. Much cleaner tone, too. I suspect that he had more control, what with the older tech relying less on internal wizardry and more on the actual computer telling it what to do.
