Photoshop has nothing to do with this pic, the guy is an artist and a damn good one at that! And this would actually be an example of really basic, beginner level photoshop if it were digitally enhanced, ie, copy/paste man onto stock photo, set layer opacity to 1%, save file. WOW, I can photoshop like the pro’s do!!!!
Check out his work before you jump to dumb conclusions ^
This is shopped, I am a merchandiser for coca-cola, I go to stores and stock the shelves, not only do other companies, pepsi, Dr. Pepper not mix their product in with their competitors. Nobody, at least around here sells full sized cans in 6 or 8 packs. Also notice there are no prices, so it is either photoshopped, set up by him, or wallpaper.
Congratulations on your savvy career choice and obviously relevant expert knowledge.
Do you think, given the effort that Brolin puts into his work that he might have adjusted the context to create a specific and desired scene? Surely if he is willing to put in so much work on his role in this, moving a couple of tins isn’t too much effort.
*Sigh* It’s real, the artist’s name is Liu Bolin, the internet is full of other examples of his stuff. Just because your miserable little brain can’t fathom what it’s seeing, doesn’t mean it’s photoshopped.
This isn’t photo shopped. the artist is quite well known for this, and does remarkable stuff. the reason the drinks might look differently placed than you might be used to seeing is because I think this was done in China and the packaging of the soda might be different. Here is a link to many other of his photos http://www.ekfineart.com/html/artistresults.asp?artist=82&testing=true
the fact that there is only one row of each item makes it obvious it isn’t a real shop, but its besides the point as the dude perfectly matches his surroundings
Shopped, the problem is you actually see the lines of the shelf behind the person. Furthermore no store is stupid enough to actually have shelfs like that. Whoever shopped this was probably concerned it wouldn’t look real and over did it. Shopping the clothes to when they actually looked like clothes would’ve worked slightly better.
Shopped, you say? Can you tell from the pixels and from having seen a lot of ‘shops’ in your time?
You are right (once) in your stupid rant, no store would stock their shelves this way, but this photo wasn’t taken in a store, it would have been set up in a studio. Do five seconds worth of google research and maybe see for yourself….
Eh, I’m not dissing Liu or anything, but I think it’s a little odd that the pattern of sodas seems to repeat. I may be wrong, but it looks like the shelves are all copies of one or two shelves, just different areas. Don’t flame or anything, just sayin.
WTF?! How is this even possible? is this a photoshop makeover
?
Good photoshopping!

Google “chinese camoflage artist” or “liu bolin”, he’s an artist speaking out against oppression/lack of individuality/having to blend in in China.
No it’s not. This man paints himself to blend in with his surrondings. His name is Liu Bolin.
Aw tnx you helped me a lot !

The shot itself is set up by Liu Bolin and his assistants, but he does actually paint his body to blend into the setup.
Also, the bottles and cans are the Chinese version (he’s from Shandong) so IDK how they package them for sale there.
More of his stuff here: http://myagenzia.wordpress.com/2009/08/06/the-art-of-being-invisible-hidden-liu-bolins-amazing-illusions/
No, it isn’t shopped. He is a Chinese artist and I don’t believe the shelving issues in China are the same.
Here is more of his work. http://www.ekfineart.com/html/artistresults.asp?artist=82&testing=true

Josh BROLIN designed this?
Thank you. You saved me having to write all that down…

He hates those cans!!
Get away form the Cans!!
There are cans in there!!
More Cans!!!
I love how this dude meticulously pours over details and tells us about his wonderful career, instead of taking a minute to google…
wtf?
IDGI
let me be the first to say “Errr… wutever.
MY BRAIN IS FULL OF FOCK
fake…

he is covered in green on a greenscreen
This guy is legit. He has done many similar camo pictures before, some more obvious than others.

Store security is getting serious
They’re using predators now…
Beat me to it.

This guy is awesome!
First there was Mall Ninja — now there is Grocery-Store Ninja….
What’s next?! LAWN ninjas? ….Robot Ninjas?
…..Robot lawn ninjas?
SUPER ROBOT LAWN UNICORN NINJA X-TREME: HEAVY METAL VERSION
Cyborg Pirate Ninja Jesus!?
No real grocery store has shelves stocked that way. It would take hours…
Not every day, maybe,
But if an ad is being shot in the store, they’ll get it that neat.
Or the day before the store opened.
Or while it was closed?
The store is in China, maybe they do things differently.
Very cool. I thought it was shopped too, but checked it out:
http://koikoikoi.com/2009/07/liu-bolin-the-invisible-man/.
Shoped!!!

Now that I know it isn’t photoshopped, I am really impressed. Wow.
This is legitimate work by Liu Brolin. Holy crap does he have time on his hands.
Right before he went to that store: “Honey, where is my super-suit?”
OH CRAP! Hide yo kids, hide yo wives…
Looking at this one makes me go cross-eyed >.<
the fact that there is only one row of each item makes it obvious it isn’t a real shop, but its besides the point as the dude perfectly matches his surroundings
I didn’t mean to molest him, I was reaching for some cola! ;_;
this is actually modern art i dont know his name but he has 100s of pictures just like this
:O Templar!
FAAAAAAAAAKE
It’s not Photoshoped just google “Urban Camouflage” this guy does stuff like it all the time.
what does he do when they change stuff around?
That’s a fail, I can still see his shoes and his faint outline, what a waste of time.
Unlike complaining on the internet which is obviously time well spent.

once again like everyone else… this isn’t shopped. It’s by an artist liu bolin…
http://weburbanist.com/2009/12/05/urban-camouflage-liu-bolin-the-invisible-man/
all of his work deals with urban camouflage
You didn’t bother googling Liu Bolin, did you?
It is NOT shopped.
I didn’t even see him there until the feet.
at first I was like “what am I looking for???” upon closer inspection I saw the guy.
今、私はスティングカメレオンが隠れている場所を知っている!

Damn your disillusionment charms Mad Eye! I can’t find Harry!

Individuality < totalitarian capitalism.
Most impressive.
Anyone who said this is photoshopped is retarted!
