It’s from a web-site from milk-producers (www.theweakshop.com). Funny site though. From the web-site:
“Chair Pants are fictitious. If you could order Chair Pants you would have to agree to assume all responsibility for use of this product. The Weak Shop would assume no liability for the use or misuse of Chair Pants. But this is all a moot point, since Chair Pants don’t exist. Our development team is weak, because they haven’t been drinking enough milk.”
It would be funny if milk wasn’t gross and lousy for you. It’s too high in protein, which leaches calcium from your bones. Relying on milk as a major source of calcium and strength=osteoporosis.
Good to see other people realize this.
The most interesting part is people think drinking human milk is disgusting, but will gladly guzzle a glass of milk from a random animal. Just because it’s been going on for a long time doesn’t necessarily mean its a good idea people!
Actually this is win because the product never really existed. It was a joke as part of an ad campaign for milk. Try looking here: http://theweakshop.com/
This is from an art project in Vancouver called The Weak Shop (theweakshop.com). They have a whole website of products like this, and they have/had a “storefront” on Granville Ave in Vancouver.
Hey, I think the fictional character Michael Scott from the television show “The Office” (US edition) talked about inventing these! Maybe in season 5? He and character Holly Flax talk about them at a corporate picnic and Holly’s boyfriend wants a pair when Michael invents them. Wonder who though of it first … this inventor, or the writers of “The Office”?
Do you wear them constantly, even when you’re walking? If so, stabbing toddlers in the eye has never been so easy. Which is a bad thing, of course.
I agree…. with your first two sentences. But a bad thing? Whyyyy?
No idea. Society says so, apparently.
That is the most useless thing humanity has thought of. + It looks bad.
I LOVE IT.
Thats why it is not a win.
Yep, it’s a fail
fail instead of a win

Milk… leeches calcium from your bones.
Well trolled sir, well trolled.
He learned it by reading the PETA web site so it must be true, amirite? >.>
More like a fail to me.

….I’m not sure if this is the greatest thing ever or the stupidest.
This is from an art project in Vancouver called The Weak Shop (theweakshop.com). They have a whole website of products like this, and they have/had a “storefront” on Granville Ave in Vancouver.
And they’re only $70!! What a deal!!
But suppose I want to sit in, oh, say a chair!? I mean a “real” chair, no some stupid thing tacked on to my pants….
The sad thing is, somebody, somewhere, thinks it’s a good idea, and somebody else, somewhere else, bought them…..
Informercial for Chair Pants from the Weak Shop (theweakshop.com)
another reason why Americans keep getting fatter…
It’s Canadian, champ.
And it’s also a parody.

that was my first thought too
Americans buy milk by the quart, 1/2 gallon, or gallon, not liters. Lighten up, people, chair pants is a joke.
Butt antennae! How can it not be a win?
the sad part? i’m so lazy i’d genuinly consider getting a pair :L
Skip to 10:43.
Too expensive way to act like an idiot.
wicked ideas are everywhere.
Lame. It would only be a win if they included a beer can dispenser.
y u no make chair pants in IRL!?!?!?
Combine these w/Pajama Jeans and you’ll have the greatest pair of pants in the world.
its what i call an american chair
I would buy that.
…SpongeBob ChairPants?
