It’s an educational toy! Use it to show little Timmy that the super villains in his comic books and cartoons are just imaginary.
And when he grows up he’ll live in the adult world, where maniacal psychopaths have nuclear weapons
I don’t think there’s much “win” about Kim Jong I’ls policy choices. And ask yourself: who’s behind this? Who’s manufacturing them and profiting off them? There’s something shady about this.
The company itself is a knock-off of Tamiya, apparently. So that doesn’t say much. Not to be obsessive–I just knew someone would say “Durr it’s TATAMIYA! It says so on the box!”
It’s a joke set up to look like Tamiya’s series – it’s definitely not being sold, and the company ‘Tatamiya’ does not exist. Not sure if it’s just a shop or a mocked up real life box, but the lack of reflections below the heading line “Military Miniatures” on the box is kind of suspicious.
Why do I have a picture of him playing with dolls representing him, Lee Myung-Bak and Obama, like Dark Helmet played with his dolls in the Movie Spaceballs?
Tamiya is the correct spelling. Also note that the stars are upside down. Tamiya has pretty much ditched 1/35 scale and are concentrating on 1/48th which will make him even smaller if possible. So, yes, a parody indeed. Look for the real kit from DML or Dragon or any of the many asian mfgs that have pirated Tamiya’s designs and kits.
So what’s the win?
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I get the idea that its sort of demeaning to him, but its not really a win.
If you could make him that small, it’d be a win for the whole world!
It’s also mind boggling to think of someone assuming that enough people would want this to bother making it.
This is an awsome win.
‘Cause he IS a military miniature IRL. I lol’d.
So, does that 1/35th size mean 1/35th the size of a normal human male? Does that mean this is a life-sized replica of Kim Jong-Il?
First! The expression on his face in that bottom pic is priceless!
This is not a real product, just a paradoy for packaging.
Tamiya, not TATAMIYA
Good catch!!

I want this so bad.

So, the scale’s what, 1:1 then?
1/35 scale? That box is waaay to big!
1/35 scale. So it’s just an inch tall
He’s only 35 inches tall IRL? Dang! No wonder he is so pissed at the world!
better hope he doesn’t win
As used in ‘Team America’
It’s a win…. cause it’s LIFE SIZE.
Why do I have a picture of him playing with dolls representing him, Lee Myung-Bak and Obama, like Dark Helmet played with his dolls in the Movie Spaceballs?
Man, that is one angry Lesbian.
Does he come with Karate Chop Action?
It’s a win, but I’d be very embarrased showing this to my korean friends!
Time for xkcd’s “Actual Size!” stickers, methinks.
