Not only did they spell Satan wrong but they did the pentagram wrong too. They made it a pentacle instead.
Look, a brief lesson for wannabe Satanists. The pentacle represents a man, his head towards the Heavens, feet on the earth, etc. When it’s inverted it represents a man with his head towards Hell. That’s why upside down it’s Satanic and right side up it represents Pagans and Wiccans whom practice, “First, do no harm.” Whereas Satanists are all about harm.
They got the pentacle wrong, yes, along with the spelling. They did the Wiccan pentacle instead of the Satanist. I’m a Wiccan so I’m not pleased with this person’s mistake. Kinda nice that you put that funfact up about what the star direction represents, I bet that’ll help SOMEONE remember how to draw these pentacles correctly *glares at the Satin Lover*.
I am a Wiccan too and I was taught that the star represent Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Spirit and the Circle is the earth. IDK if I was taught wrong, but that’s what I learned.

Actually, even upside down the pent isn’t Satanic. In many traditional Wicca groups, it can be symbolic of coming down to Earth, and addressing yourself in this world.
Satanists are simply focusing on worldliness…not as sophisticated in using it.

The inverted cross is the symbol of St. Peter. He apparently refused to be crucified right-side up because he said he was lower than Christ and didn’t want to die the same way. (cracked.com ftw!) Satanists who claim it are either clueless, using it for blasphemy, or just using it to get attention.

Was whoever wrote the pentacle serious? Cause that’s a pagan symbol, the pentagram (point down) is the Satanic symbol. Also, their “artwork” looks all kinds of crappy, looks like a real virtuoso.

Actually, it IS a pentacle (a pentagram doesn’t have the circle, just the star). But, yeah, right side up it’s a symbol of the Goddess, as in Wicca or other neo-pagan traditions. Pretty much the opposite of evil.

Lol, just another one of those idiots that say they are satanist for attention (or in this case satinist ROFL). Also, the star has MANY different meanings for many different cultures. Christianity, the normal star represents devotion to God. An inverted one means devotion to the devil. Wiccan, the top of the star is Spirit, and the other four tips are the other elements.
Someone did this when I was in high school, back in 1997. I don’t remember what the written response was, but it was along those lines. If this is from HHHS, Oliver, I hope you learned to spell and Dish you’re still a douche for wanting to beat someone up for this.
