Let’s get some in this Lane
First. No Shadow from added Sign. Obvious Chop.
It still made me giggle in nerdhood fashion though. MOAR COWBELL!
Because there’s nothing it’d be casting light on. It’s a piece of printer paper; the angle of light is in the completely wrong direction for something that thin to cast a visible shadow in such a low resolution picture.
Yet the Cowbell sign is barely 25 percent bigger while being just as thin. and at the same exact angle and it casts a shadow.
The cowbell sign is angled slightly different than the paper one and there is a significant difference in width between the two materials. Also, if you look, the corner where the more sign covers the cowbell one, there is a very faint shadow.
Real. There’s the post holding the “More” sign zip-tied to the regular post.

Google “More cowbell”. You will find 1000 000 000 hits. Some of them are great! B-)
I’d never heard the phrase “more cowbell” before either. It’s probably not that well known outside America.
I know where this sign is…it’s definitely a hack. But I often giggled when I passed it on my way to work too!

I pass this sign once a week! I saw this picture and all I could think of was my last trip to Gravenhurst, ON.
this sign is definately 60% legit. there is a Cowbell lane on Hwy 11 right before Gravenhurst, ON coming from southern areas like Toronto, ON. BUT the “MORE”
sign is definately a huge photo shop. it’s still sweet but not real.
