I feel your pain. This exact same thing happened to me trying to post a comment full of pseudo-code on “Monday Thru Friday.”
The start tag is up on top of the wall. You can barely see it. It looks like it says “Geek Love Poem” in angle brackets. Still not technically correct form though
Yah. Forgot the <POEM>. Although if they were going for XHTML Strict, it should be <poem /> and end with </poem>, since lowercase is the the convention.
XHTML knowledge FAIL, you’re opening and immediately closing the tag when you use .
Just to be pedantic, <poem /> would still be incorrect, as the trailing slash closes the poem element before the actual poem begins.
