Really, they may as well get rid of the gallons indicator. I don’t want to know how little gas my money buys me.

inb4 failing firster!
P.S.: [Nelson] HAAH-HAAH! [/Nelson]
P.P.S.: I LOVE FEET! Imagine all the girls would run around topless all summer long! That’s how summers are for me! Woohooo!
Your pathetic disguise does not fool us.
What does that have to do with anything?
I’m sure you intentions were good, sir, but this is a worse fail than someone simply saying ‘FIIRST’ and being mildly obnoxious.
Learn.
SCREW YOU
5.86166471
…and that is a good price on gas compared to around here!
yeah, im in dekalb, home of the huskies, and were on the top gas price list at around 2.90 a gallon, whereas in the middle-east you could buy a barrel for a little more than that
5.862 gallons, for those interested.
In France, the gallon costs almost 6$…
In Sweden, the gallon costs at least $ 6.50…
X=5.771 gallons if that says 2.599 per gallon
or
X=5.861 gallons if that says 2.559 per gallon
Kinda hard to read it.
I’ll give you a hint: x < enough
X = 5.86 gallons.
x=5.77145055791
2.559x = 15
2.559x/2.559 = 15/2.559
x ≈ 5.86 gallons
OR if your not showing off
15.00 (divide sign) 2.559 = 5.861664712 exactly
they got about 6 gal of gas
I’ll totally do the math!
…
Srsly.
WOW! gas is 2.55/gal?
plus its 5.861 gallons
Round up to 2.56
People actually want to know how much gas they put in? I always get gas below 1/4 of my tank anyway… and fill it all the way up. Never cared about solving for “x”. The pump always turns off, anyway.
FYI, running often below 1/4 of a tank of fuel often leads to the fuel pump burning out, as the fuel pump relies on tank volume as cooling.
Assuming you have an in-tank pump of course.
But I agree, I dont understand people who run .5 – .25 of a tank and only ever throw $20 at it. Your burning the fuel anyways, FILL IT.
Sometimes we don’t have enough MONEY to FILL IT.
I know, right? Either this is horrendously old, or I need to move there!
5.859375 gallons not even a 1/4 tank in my 22 gallon tank
costs 9.63/gal where I am, tho that is UK prices then converted to dollars.
I’ll bet this was the result of a case of moron rage at high gas prices.
It may have also ended with the phrase “That’ll learn ya!”
I remember when I was a teenager and gas was 23 cents a gallon. We could dig around under the seats and find enough money to buy enough gas to go somewhere. I swore I’d never mention the “good old days” no matter what my age, but some things were good.
theres a bullet hole in the screen lol, thats y it looks like that, and nice price on gas too
$2.56/gal? Nice price! I’m paying around $3.00 over here.
i didnt know bp owned that gas station!
