Hallowed Be Thy Name

I could get behind a holy trinity of Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan. It would give real substance to that “fear of god” thing.

Dude, tagging a church is just wrong.

  3. David Knapp says:

Vandalism stinks. It’s not even pretty vandalism. The person who did this needs to take an art class.

  4. Ahetma Vaakenjaab says:

I saw a billboard near KCMO a few years back that originally said, “God is Coming” that someone had changed to “Godzilla is Coming”. I was laughing so hard I hit the inside barrier wall on the interstate and scraped up the side of my car!

  5. Seen this a long long time ago. Loooooooooooooong time ago

And even scarier is when you are looking for a laugh to cheer you up online, find something you recognize, and as you are scrolling down the comments to see anyone else noticed its from tucson, find that the people who did are two people you know. LOLZ! Btw, miko, just called you to tell you about finding this. Hense the missed call on your phone. *omg rofl can’t breath*

  8. Tucson says:

Welcome to Tucson. That place gets tagged every few months.

  17. Cpt. Headwound says:

I actually don’t understand what it says. Could someone please explain it to me?

  18. Renteal says:

This house is in Tucson, AZ on a main street. Lots of traffic goes by it, everybody can see the “Happiness is Submission…” slogan. It used to bother me until I realized it gets vandalized ALL THE TIME. Like, it will get vandalized and then cleaned up and then the next day there is a new one. It’s a running joke for everyone that drives by.

  19. Phaedrus says:

This is in Tucson! Wish I could have seen it when it was tagged. =)

  20. Pik says:

Tucson, AZ, little church right across from the UA as well as the high school. The owners paint the wall to get rid of it, days later Godzilla would be back, rinse and repeat for a long, long while. For the past year or so, though, I don’t think anyone has bothered to change it back to Godzilla–maybe they installed an actual security measure or the joke just got real old.

  21. charro says:

Hai gaiz! Did you know this is in Tucson?

  22. oɹɹɐɥɔ says:

LOL moderators, you moderated my comment that said “Hai gaiz! Did you know this is in Tucson?”

  23. BigMomma says:

Judging by all the comments on here, there must be nuthin’ to do but tag churches and cruise the internet…sounds like where I live…so sad.

Just a quick question, how can “happiness” be any sort of “submission” to anything? That worries me.

    • BigMomma says:

You know, there will come a day when I actually proof read what I submit prior to submitting. Not today though!!

That was supposed to be “nuthin’ to do but…in Tucson.” Yeah, I’m going back to bed now.

  24. scrambles says:

I’m more scared of godzilla than god O_o

  25. abruptplague says:

Tucson band Troy’s Bucket actually named their cd “Happiness is submission to GodZILLA” Check it out.

  26. rowan says:

    makes scenes

  27. Fugu says:

    Epic Win.

  28. Jaws says:

I live right down the street. It’s always hilarious to watch taggers and the owner battle it out. One minute there’s graffiti, the next it’s perfectly fine. ^^

  29. woowee says:

saw this everyday until it got painted over, it ws across the street from the highschool i went to, tucson high

  30. splatman says:

So the paint must be 1/2″ thick on that part of the wall then.
    I second BigMomma’s comment.
Now I ask, WWJS? (What would Jesus say?)
    Give it a Splat!

  31. scorpyo says:

I TOTALLY KNOW THAT BUILDING!!! Every day I saw it I wanted to hack it IRL too- I wanted to wipe out “To God”- never got up the cojones to do it. This was my teenage fantasy from 20aught years ago when I lived in the U district. Wow.

    I’m old.

    And lame.

  32. Jamie says:

I live like a block away from this house, it’s in a constant cycle of vandalism and repainting. Curiously always “zilla”, maybe at some point someone will paint out “god” and write “Voltron” or something

  33. T-Town says:

Guys, it’s not a church, it’s a mosque/place for muslims to study islam and the qoran. Duh. Pay attention to your surroundings.

  34. Charlie'n'Steve says:

There is a Church of God, Zillah in the tiny town of Zillah, Wa.

  35. Ash says:
